These rules apply to wishlist item images, profile images, banner images, and thank you note images.

We are trying to keep this site classified as a non-adult-content site in order to provide you with lower fees. We warmly welcome SW’s and we want to ensure you can continue to get gifts from fans without the high fees you may experience on adult content sites.

To successfully use WishTender without getting your account terminated by our payment processor, please take note of current wishlist item guidelines.

Prohibited

  • Items that are neither gifts nor tips:

    • Selling any services or goods on your wishlist is prohibited.

    • Gift item names or descriptions that promise a good or service in exchange for the gift are prohibited.

    • Wishlist item names that don’t make sense in a sentence about gifting or tipping are prohibited.

      Items should fit in a sentence about gifting or tipping such as:

      “Sam bought a ____ for Dash.”

      Good Item Names

      • Rent:
        Sam paid for Dash’s rent. ✅

      • Funds for self care:
        Sam funded Dash’s self care. ✅

      • Nike:
        Sam bought Nikes for Dash. ✅

      • Treat me to a spa day because I deserve it:

        Sam treated Dash to a spa day because she deserved it. ✅

      • $300 tip:
        Sam tipped Dash $300. ✅

      • Initial tip:
        Sam tipped Dash an initial tip. ✅

      Bad Item Names

      • Worship:
        Sam paid for Dash’s worship. ❌ unclear how this is a gift

      • Debt Contract:
        Sam bought a debt contract for Dash. ❌ unclear how this is a gift

  • Nudity Or Implied Nudity:

    • Gifts, or profile images, that have nudity or implied nudity in the image are prohibited.

      Implied nudity means a naked person without nipples or genitalia exposed in the photograph. For example, a naked person whose genitals are covered by pixels or emojis is not allowed

    • Weed/drug related funds

      Can I list “herbs”? Yes.

    • Weapons

      Can I list “Cosplay funds” or “Funds for military antiques collection”? Yes.

    • Sex toys

    • Can I list “body massaging tools”? Yes.

    • Items with the word “tax”, “fee”, “session”, “deposit”, “game”, “unblock”

      Why not? These imply a service might be exchanged. In certain contexts these words are ok, like “video games”.

WishTender Cares

Our goal at WishTender is to empower all users to confidently use our platform no matter their outside interests or professions. In order to do that, we’re doing our best to provide accurate guidance on how to use our platform successfully. These measures keep our fees low for everyone and enable you to be in good standing with our current payment processor. Some of our rules our stricter than our payment processor in order to stay ahead of any issues.

Our priority is to serve our community. Let us know if you feel any of these rules are not ideal so we can understand how to make WishTender better.

If you are trying to link your Twitter account on mobile and you see this error:

Error on Twitter: The Account being added is already logged in.



This can happen when you’re not logged in to Twitter on your mobile browser.


Follow these steps to fix:

  1. Take note of what mobile browser you’re using WishTender on. Example: the mobile safari browser.

  2. Go to twitter.com on the mobile browser from step 1.

  3. Log in to your Twitter account in the mobile browser, not in the Twitter app.

Go back to WishTender and link your Twitter account again.

Change your display currency in your Account Settings.

What is ‘display currency’?

The display currency is the currency set on your wishes. It’s also the currency your gifters will pay in unless they manually override your wishlist currency by changing their checkout currency setting.

Display currency is different from payout currency. Payout currency is the currency Stripe pays you out in.

Setting your display currency to USD may help reduce conversion fees.

Guide for receiving manual payouts

By default your gift funds will process and send to your payout destination automatically. However, if you would like to have the payouts sent manually, here is what you need to do.

 

  1. Contact us via chat, our support email or twitter DM and provide us with your Stripe connected email. Let us know that you want us to pause your payouts.

     

  2. Once you are ready to receive your payout, contact us again and let us know to resume your payouts. *Note: Once payouts are resumed they will require 1-2 business days to process before being sent to your payout destination.

     

  3. Once the payout is in transit, let us know and we’ll pause your payouts once again.

While this is not the most elegant solution, we’re happy to help do this for anyone who wants until we have the option to setup manual payouts automatically through Stripe.

If you got an email saying that Stripe is closing your account down

  1. Check the email to make sure they are closing your WishTender account. The email should say WishTender LLC (account ID: acct_1MLkd4G7k… and not some other business like BMAC LLC (account ID: acct_1MLkd4G7k…

  2. Reach out to us and send us your Account ID from the email.

The statement descriptor may vary depending on the bank/cc, but it generally will say some version of the company name. There will be no details about the gift title or recipient.

This is currently an unknown issue occurring on Stripe’s end. You’ll need to reach out to Stripe to describe that you weren’t asked for your phone number when signing up for your express connect account.

Add Wish by URL

On the web app, click “Add Wish” and either add the URL of an item.



Add a custom wish without a URL

On the web app, click “Add Wish”. Click the custom tab.


Chrome extension

Download the chrome extension on your desktop. This allows you to add items while on other sites, like adding shoes to your wishlist from within nike.com for example.

You should see a pink band across your wishlist that says “set up payments.”

Click that button and you’ll be moved into the stripe portal to set up your payments.

The verification SMS code is sent from Stripe.

If put in the wrong number while signing up on Stripe:

You can change your number on Stripe.



Otherwise, follow these instructions from Stripe.com:

Troubleshooting not receiving text message (SMS) verification codes

  1. Wait up to 30 minutes. Codes can take up to 30 minutes to be delivered in some cases.

  2. Request a new code. If you have not received your code after 30 minutes, try requesting another code.

  3. If you still are unable to login, submit a request through the account recovery form.

  4. If you are unable to use the self-recovery flow and still receiving issues not receiving the verification code, contact Stripe Support.

To contact Stripe from your wishlist:

  1. Click Account settings in the top right corner

  2. Click Payment Dashboard. This will take you to your Stripe portal.

  3. Click the ? in the top right corner of the page.

  4. Click “contact stripe express support” in the top right corner of the page.

How do I withdraw my money?

There is no withdrawal process. Instead, we send the funds automatically, via Stripe, once the funds have been processed.

 

The first gift you receive on WishTender can take 7-14 days to pay out because of our payment processor’s security protocol. However, users have pleasantly reported that the first payout can be as fast as 2 days.

 

The funds will be sent out on the next payout day for every gift after the first gift. Payout days occur every two business days. The funds may take 2-5 business days to settle in your account.

There are two ways to tweet from WishTender

  1. Auto Tweets

  2. Pre-populated Manually Tweets

Turn on Auto Tweets

You can turn on auto-tweets in your account settings.

 

Auto Tweet Settings

To change your Auto Tweet settings go to your account settings.

If your wishtender link is tweeting as “dot com” instead of a regular link, this is because you haven’t checked Include wishlist link.


Manually Tweet

You can manually tweet by using the “Tweet” buttons located in different areas of your wishtender. There’ll be Tweet buttons next to your wishlist items if you want to tweet about adding a new item and there are buttons on your wish tracker page if you want to tweet about items you’ve received.

This will open a pre-populated tweet you can edit before tweeting.

  1. We are more flexible than Amazon. Since wishers get the funds to purchase the gift, you can list anything on your wishlist, not just Amazon products, but also items from any site or even offline items like spa days, complete outfits, or having your rent funded.

  2. We are safer than Amazon.

    1. We don’t allow gifters to initiate returns. This helps you avoid a fan claiming they got you a gift, only to have them cancel it later.

    2. Purchasers can call up Amazon stores and request your address. On WishTender, your information is private.

  3. We’re made for creators. We have features that Amazon doesn’t have with you in mind. For example, you can leave a thank you picture note within WishTender. And we’re constantly looking to improve the site to fit your needs.

They will show up as WishTender LLC. You will not see the specific wisher’s wishlist on your credit card bill.

If you’re a wisher, gifters can only see what’s on your wishlist. They cannot see your real name or any payment information.

If you’re a gifter, wishers can only see your gift message and the name you leave on the gift message. They cannot see your payment information, real name, or email.

WishTender protects wishers 100% against the most common dispute type in our space: a dispute for fraud. You’ll not be required to cover any fees associated with fraud-coded arguments.

To keep you safe from return scams, WishTender does not allow refunds.

In some cases, if the wisher approves a refund, we will give a partial refund to the gifter minus our fee.

We charge 10% to the gift purchaser.

There are no fees for the wishlist owner; however, international users may see their payouts reduced due to currency conversions. If you are outside of the U.S., we recommend uplifting your price by 2%-5% to cover any potential conversion fees. We do not make money off of currency conversion fees. These fees are affected by the banking system and fluctuate.

Contact us if you would like to remove the conversion fees.

Stripe allows our users to get gifts no matter what industry they are in since you are getting gifts and not selling adult content through WishTender. Follow our guidelines for what you can and cannot post on your wishlist to continue receiving gifts successfully.
